A POS (Purchase of Service) contract is a legally binding agreement/document that defines the services or final product to be provided to a public authority. A POS contract is used to acquire routine and routine human services to clients from private providers such as children`s counselling clinics or extended day care centres. Once the services and costs are agreed, a contract is signed. DCF works with communal agencies to provide and facilitate a continuum of services for children and families.
